The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation and/or replacement of ADA compliant ramps and sidewalk. Work includes demolition of existing site features; modification/installation of concrete ramps compliant with ADA requirements; concrete sidewalk replacement/installation; removal and replacement of the concrete entryway; removal and re-installation of existing fence/handrail; concrete curb replacement; replacement of concrete cheekwall; and all necessary traffic control, site preparation, access, site protection, and site restoration. Proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the Contract Number and project title. Bidders are responsible for viewing the project locations on their own. Proposals must be submitted on the provided forms and accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond in an amount equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the total proposal as a guarantee. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates are required. All contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after submission without forfeiting the bid guarantee. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received.
