Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Murrysville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Sealed bids are invited for the 2026 Road Surface Treatment Project, Project No. Dpw-2-26, for the Municipality of Murrysville. The work involves the following items: Bituminous Fiber Reinforced Seal Coat Srl G, Fog Seal, Single Seal with Crs-2p, Double Yellow Lines, and White Lines, as well as alternate quantities for some items. Proposals must be sealed, accompanied by a 25% bid surety, and delivered to the Murrysville Municipal Building, marked accordingly. No late proposals will be accepted and none will be returned after submission. Following the opening, the bid surety for the three lowest responsible bidders will be retained; the others will be returned. When the contract is awarded and required bonds are provided, surety for the two remaining unsuccessful bidders will also be returned. Bids will be evaluated based on total cost, unit cost, and alternate cost to most benefit the municipality. The Municipality of Murrysville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any part of them, and to waive defects or readvertise if necessary. Bidders must comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the E-verify program requirements.
