Renovation of an industrial development in Kiln, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development.

The project generally consists of repairs to canopies and painting at Warehouse 1 and Warehouse 2 in the Port Bienville Industrial Park. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of canopies and associated components, painting of existing steel members and door frames, replacement of two exterior canopy columns, and other miscellaneous work. The contractor is responsible for performing all work and furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials required by the specifications and drawings. Bidders must submit proposals sealed and deposited with the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission prior to the designated hour and date. Each bidder must deposit a Bid Bond equal to 5% of the bid amount, payable to the Commission. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. Bidders must show a current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors on the outside of the sealed envelope or included in the electronic bid submittal. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the bid opening date. The Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein. Minority and women's business enterprises are encouraged to bid as prime contractors and to inquire about subcontracting opportunities, equipment, materials, and supply needs. Disadvantaged and women's business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
