The general scope of work consists of the installation of a new packaged heat pump for the main gym at Walker Spivey Elementary, including required electrical and fire alarm work. Instructions to bidders: Single prime proposals will be received for all construction work. Bidders must provide three references from previously satisfied public-school customers of similar size, scope, and timeframe; furnish their NC License Number according to G.S. Chapter 87; and provide insurance as required by law, including workers compensation, general liability, automobile liability, and builders risk or installation floater. Recruitment of minority business participation in accordance with G.S. 143-128 is also required. Participation in a mandatory pre-bid conference at the project site is required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
