Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Clever, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a 4,850-square-foot road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Question Deadline 05/08/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents shall be submitted to OWNER in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The work consists of approximately 4,850 square yards of 2-inch asphalt overlay, cold milling, partial full depth pavement removal and replacement, gravel driveway, and traffic control. Bidders must submit separate, sealed proposals using the provided forms, ensuring all unit price bids, extensions, and totals are fully completed. Each bid must include a bidder's bond for 5 percent of the total base bid, payable to the City. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100 percent of the contract price, using the forms provided and in accordance with the General Conditions. All contractors must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. Wage rates must meet or exceed those specified by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. The City encourages proposals from minority owned, women owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises. Contractors and subcontractors must not discriminate in employment practices. The City reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after opening.
