Site work for a service station / car wash facility in Hamilton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a service station / car wash facility.
The City of Hamilton, Ohio, is requesting proposals and statements of qualifications from a qualified EV Equipment provider or team of providers to contract with the City to provide electric DC Fast charging station equipment. The contracted firm will be required to provide DCFC (Direct Current Fast Charging) equipment for public use at four planned locations in the City of Hamilton. Installation of the equipment will be completed by the City's own team. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any informalities or irregularities, or accept any proposal deemed most favorable to the City. (Kettering Hospital Parking Lot ) 1606 University Blvd. Hamilton , Ohio . (Miami University Parking Lot ) Capable of charging (4) vehicles simultaneously at site 1. - Capable of charging (4) vehicles simultaneously at site 2. - Capable of charging (4) vehicles simultaneously at site 3. -Capable of charging (4) vehicles simultaneously at site 4. - kW output of 100 kW or more while a vehicle is charging. - Must include (4) standalone DC Fast Chargers at each location (1 unit per parking stall). - Each proposed DCFC charging station must have the ability to support (1) SAE CCS 1 connector, and (1) North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector. -EV equipment capable of upgrading (adding more power modules - modular configuration) to scale in the future to a higher kW output (240kW) is preferred. - EV equipment must have network connectivity. -EV Equipment capable of connecting to the ChargePoint network is preferred. - EV equipment provider must be able to process customer usage, customer charges, and provide City of Hamilton with monthly payments. - EV equipment must provide the City of Hamilton with a reporting capability that includes but not limited to the following: # of customers, time of use, location of usage, length of charge time, kWh and or kW consumption - EV equipment provider must provide EV customer with call in support to EV drivers seeking assistance. -5 years of network required upfront. -5 years of warranty / maintenance plan purchased upfront to ensure 95% uptime - Each charging station must be capable of delivering 100 kW or more to a single vehicle (assuming the vehicle is capable of accepting such power input). - The station should be powered by 480-volt service. -All chargers should use Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) v1.6 or newer. -Networking should allow for collection of usage data and electronic payment from station users.
