Description

Demolition for a municipal facility in Welch, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.

Sealed bids are requested for the demolition of selected properties. Bidders must submit one set of bid documents, which must include adequate liability and property damage insurance, proof of valid workers compensation coverage, contractor's license, and all other required certifications and paperwork, such as Non-Conflict of Interest Certification and Drug Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit. Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked "McDowell County Demolition Project Five" and addressed to the appropriate office. No electronic or facsimile bids will be accepted. The County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or informalities, and accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the County.
