Site work for a water / sewer project in Uppr Chichstr, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work generally includes: 1. Retrofitting existing chlorine contact tanks with a UV disinfection facility. 2. Demolition of a rag pit. 3. Installation of a bulk sodium hypochlorite (hypo) storage and site-wide feed system . 4. Modifications and/or installation of chemical feed piping and associated appurtenances in PS-5, PS-4, PS-3, Building B-3, and Building B-8. 5. Site/civil upgrades including yard piping and paving. This work consists of furnishing all necessary supervision, labor, tools, materials, and equipment to perform all work necessary to install the Helical Piles, per the specifications described herein and as shown on the Drawings. The Contractor shall install Helical Piles that will develop the load capacities and torques as detailed in this Specification. Work includes specialty design of the helical pile configuration and installation criteria as required to meet the specified design criteria and the Drawings. Question Deadline 06/01/2026 All Questions Concerning Contract No. Tc-2603-c Shall Be Directed To Charles Hurst, Pe, Director Of Engineering, In Writing Via Email At: Bidquestions@delcora.org. Sealed bids are invited for the general contract for WRTP Disinfection Upgrades - 2026, Contract No. TC-2603-C. All terms and conditions in the bidding documents must be strictly followed and are not subject to negotiation after the bid is awarded. Questions about compliance must be raised prior to bid submission, and submission constitutes the bidder's agreement to comply with all terms and conditions. All forms for bids, experience statements, bonds, and insurance certificates must be executed on the provided forms. Failure to comply will result in rejection, and bidders not prepared to comply should not submit a bid. Attention is called to requirements including Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Rates, PA Steel Procurement Act, American Iron & Steel, BABA requirements, DBE requirements, and equal opportunity provisions. The project is federally funded by EPA assistance and requires contractors to comply with federal executive orders and EPA regulations, including documentation of solicitation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). Contractors must demonstrate six good faith efforts to identify and solicit DBE firms, including qualified small businesses, and minority and women-owned business enterprises. Each bid must be in a sealed envelope, endorsed with the contract number and project name, addressed to the specified authority, and clearly marked with the bidder's name. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for 10% of the total bid, made payable to DELCORA. Bids may be modified or withdrawn before opening via a properly executed document. DELCORA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive omissions, mistakes, defects, or irregularities. All bids remain open for sixty days after opening.
