Renovation of a municipal facility in Eastman, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Facility renovation services to remove existing security hardware devices, associated electrical power wiring, and conduit; remove protruding or extruding metal hardware; and perform refinishing and painting of affected walls, doors, and ceilings to restore surfaces to a clean, finished condition. Work includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to safely remove obsolete components and complete surface preparation and finishing in accordance with applicable standards. This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the services required by the Contractor to satisfy all requirements perform facility renovation services in room A127, Bay A, Bldg. 350, Robins AFB, GA. The purpose of this requirement is to convert an old warehouse area into a safe, sanitary, and functional breakroom area to support the transition of AMRAAM and other EBU personnel. 1.1.2 The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, supplies, and tools to perform all tasks described in Section 4.0/Technical Requirements. Once the contract has been awarded, it becomes the responsibility of the Contractor to validate the actual site conditions as well as any specific placement needs of the customer. 1.1.3 Building 350, Bay A, is a restricted work area. Government personnel will provide escort of all Contractor workers at all times. Coordination with facility security is required prior to gaining access to the facility. The normal facility duty hours are from 0600 hours to 1800 hours Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. The Contractor will be given full access to the project areas. However, based on the nature and timelines associated with the various efforts, the Government will work with the Contractor to de-conflict any access requirements to allow successful delivery of the product/services. 1.1.4 Benefit to United States Air Force (USAF): This acquisition will benefit the United States Air Force (USAF) by providing a safe and usable breakroom area for EBU personnel. Bldg. 350 is a high security work area and employees are often limited on time for lunch and scheduled work breaks. EBU employees have to process in and out of the facility which can be time consuming, reducing their time. 2. Services Summary The objective of this requirement is to perform facility renovation services to remove old security hardware devices, electrical power wiring and conduit, remove extruding metal hardware and perform wall, door and ceiling refinishing and painting. This will allow EBU employees a safe and sanitary break area. 3. 3.0 Government Property: Government property will not be provided. 4. 4.0 Technical Requirements 4.1 The Contractor will provide all manpower, tools, paint, materials, and specialized equipment to clean, repair, and paint all wall and ceiling area of Building 350, Bay A, Room A127 as identified in Attachment 1 - AMRAAM Break Area Clean and Paint Area. During the site visit, no questions can be asked and there will be no speaking to any government personnel.
