SCC is seeking a designer for the Snyder Building Roof Replacement Project. The Snyder Building, constructed in 1997, currently has its original gravel roof in place, covering approximately 14,650 sq. ft. of the 28,000 sq. ft., two-story building. The project requires the complete removal of the existing roofing system and replacement with either a Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roof system or a FiberTite roof system. Proposing firms must submit a Letter of Interest, a copy of the current Standard Form 254 (SF 254), and licensing information—electronic submissions only. Firms must be properly licensed to practice Architecture, Engineering, or Landscape Architecture in North Carolina. Submissions should not include notebooks, binders, tabs, clips, or similar items. The format is 8-1/2" x 11" pages, stapled in the upper left-hand corner, and the Letter of Interest should not exceed ten single-sided or five double-sided pages, plus the SF 254. E-mail and fax submittals will not be accepted. Selection criteria include specialized or appropriate expertise, past performance, adequate staff, current workload, proposed design approach, recent experience with project costs and schedules, construction administration capabilities, proximity to and familiarity with the project area, record of successful project completion, and other factors deemed appropriate.
