This Sources Sought Synopsis is issued for market research purposes only and is not a solicitation. The intent is to identify potentially qualified Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Women-Owned Small Business firms capable of performing a full range of vertical construction, renovation, repair, and incidental design/build task orders under a single Multiple Award Task Order Contract. The contract is intended to support the Mobile District Corps of Engineers with a quick, cost-effective response to general construction requirements, with individual task orders ranging from approximately $1,000 to $1,000,000 and an overall contract capacity of $1.9 million. Work may include, but is not limited to, new construction and incidental design, repair, rehabilitation, and installation of facilities and structures such as project management offices, powerhouses, maintenance facilities, operations areas, boathouses, bathhouses, washhouses, gatehouses, toilets, shops, fencing, playground equipment, bulletin boards, game courts, fire and security systems, picnic sites and campsites, courtesy docks, wooden bridges, HVAC systems, roofs, siding, boat storage sheds, bank stabilization and placement of riprap, and repair and repainting of spillway gates.
