Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in East Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call civil work for a communication facility and pipeline.
This project involves fiber construction and network maintenance services for a segment of the Excelsior Broadband Network running from the Syracuse Exit 36 regeneration building to the Buffalo Exit 53 regeneration building, covering approximately 143 miles. The work includes the installation of new fiber optic cable within an existing spare conduit system, utilizing a combination of new and existing handholes and regeneration buildings. All contacts/inquiries shall be made by email to the following address: EBN2026ITB@esd.ny.gov ConnectALL is soliciting bids for fiber construction and network maintenance services from the Syracuse Exit 36 regeneration building to the Buffalo Exit 53 regeneration building, approximately 143 miles. The preliminary design anticipates the installation of approximately 155.30 miles of 864-count fiber optic cable (subject to change based on data collected during the inspection and proofing operations) along this segment of the conduit. The installation will utilize an existing spare conduit, a combination of new and existing handholes, and existing regeneration buildings. Funding for this project has been secured through New York State funds. ConnectALL does not anticipate using federal funding for this project. Question Deadline 05/15/2026 at 4:00 PM ET
