Description

Renovation of a military facility in Millington, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

This project includes the re-roofing and facility update for the Millington Readiness Center in Millington, Shelby County, Tennessee. Includes the replacement of the existing roof, associated brick repairs, HVAC updates. Overall completion is 365 days. Question Deadline 05/28/2026 Bidders shall submit questions about Bidding Documents to Designer in writing. Questions must be received by Designer at least six calendar days before bid due date. A. Furnishing of and paying for all labor, services, appliances, materials, equipment, etc. necessary for execution, installation and completion of all work specified herein and as shown on drawings. B. Section includes: 1. Removal of existing roofing and flashing systems with installment of new roofing system: a. Furnish and install elastomeric sheet roofing system, including: 1) Roofing manufacturer's requirements for the specified warranty. 2) Preparation of roofing substrates. 3) Wood nailers for roofing attachment. 4) Vapor Barrier (at concrete roof decks only) 5) Insulation. 6) Cover boards. 7) Elastomeric membrane roofing. 8) Metal roof edging and copings. 9) Flashings. 10) Walkway pads. 11) Safety strips 12) Other roofing-related items specified or indicated on the drawings or otherwise necessary to provide a complete weatherproof roofing system.
