The project consists of improvements to the Public Works Storage Area & Parking Lot. The improvements to be constructed as part of this project are located within the Public Works' parking lot at 937 Barnsdale Road in the Village of La Grange Park, IL. The project is being bid as two scopes. Contractors submitting proposals are required to provide a proposal under each bid scope. The village reserves the right to determine which bid type it will use to decide the lowest, responsible, responsive bid for the purpose of making an award Type I Bid Scope will include the following work: 1. Removal of the existing asphalt pavement and installation of a concrete slab in the southeast corner of the Village yard, where temporary storage of materials occurs. 2. The reconstruction of the main parking and access drive with a new aggregate base and asphalt pavement section. Type II Bid Scope will include the following work: 1. Removal of the existing asphalt pavement and installation of a concrete slab in the southeast corner of the Village yard, where temporary storage of materials occurs.
