Sewer Pump Station #8 Rehabilitation (W26101) for the City of Imperial Beach. The proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Imperial Beach, California, or delivered to the Administrative Services Department, City Hall. The envelope must be plainly marked on the upper left hand corner with the name and address of the bidder and bear the words "Proposal For" followed by the name of the item and the date and hour of the bid opening. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity or informality in any bid to the extent permitted by law. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with applicable divisions of the Business and Professions Code. Contractors must possess California Contractor's license CSLB Class A or other licenses as allowed by law at the time of award of the prime contract to perform the work. Subcontractors must possess the appropriate licenses for each specialty subcontracted. Each bidder must submit a copy of its active contractor's licenses with the bid documents. All electricians on the project must be State-certified and show proof of certification before starting work. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor or its subcontractors without proof of current registration with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). It is the Contractor's responsibility to ensure its business name appears in the DIR's Public Works Contractor Registration database prior to submitting a bid package. This project is subject to continuing compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR.
