Site work and paving for a road / highway in Holly Springs, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work consists of approximately 1.25 miles of asphalt patching, resurfacing, and striping on 5 City Streets in the City of Holly Springs, Georgia. Bidders must comply with Georgia Laws. The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 30 consecutive days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages of $300 per calendar day will be deducted if work remains incomplete beyond the contract completion date. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount equivalent to 5% of the total contract, or a certified check, cashier’s check, or cash in equal amount. The Successful Bidder must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond for 100% of the contract amount. Surety and insurance companies must meet specific requirements, including an AM Best rating of A-6 or greater and proper licensing. All work must be performed in accordance with Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges, 2021 Edition, or current edition, including modifications and special provisions. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed and marked appropriately. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities.
