Renovation of an educational facility in Willow Hill, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of a single prime contract for "Elementary Roof Replacement" and includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, EPDM fully adhered rubber roofing, insulation, metal coping and trims, and roof curbs. Bidders are required to submit electronically sealed bids via the PennBid Program. A certified check or bank draft payable to The Fannett Metal School District, or a satisfactory Bid Bond by an acceptable surety authorized in Pennsylvania, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid total, must be submitted with each bid. The Non-Collusion Affidavit must be included. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount equal to 100% of the contract is required from the successful bidder within 20 days of award. Bids are subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage and related Acts, and liquidated damages of $500.00 per calendar day apply. Proposals must use the forms furnished. Compliance with Act 127 of 2012 requires all contractors and subcontractors to use E-Verify for employment eligibility. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and investigation. The School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities. Awards are made only to responsible bidders demonstrating integrity, compliance with public policy, past performance, and adequate financial and technical resources.
