Renovation of a multi-residential development in Quincy, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The City of Quincy, on behalf of the Department of Planning and Community Development / Office of Healthy Homes, seeks proposals from qualified Lead Based Paint inspectors/agencies to conduct lead-based paint risk assessments, paint inspections, soil sampling, dust wipe sampling, and clearance examinations for federally funded U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) projects. The City receives HUD Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and Lead Hazard Control grants to provide lead abatement and housing rehabilitation services for low to moderate income households, with the goal of promoting safe, decent, and affordable housing as well as supporting neighborhood revitalization. Non-Price Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope, separate from the Price Proposals, which must also be in a sealed envelope. Both envelopes must be clearly marked with the appropriate proposal type and the RFP time/date. Proposals are to be delivered to the Office of the Purchasing Department at City Hall, 1305 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02169. Detailed specifications are available online and at the Office of the Purchasing Department between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The City of Quincy reserves the right to withdraw the RFP, reject any or all proposals, and accept any proposals deemed to be in the City's best interest.
