Electronic bids are requested to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services and to perform and complete all work required for the Lang Manor Window and Door Replacement project at the Lang Manor Community, Dauphin County, PA, owned by the Housing Authority of the County of Dauphin. The project is being bid as a multiple prime contract, including a General Construction Contract. The work must strictly adhere to the drawings and specifications prepared by Hammel Associates Architects. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Housing Authority or a satisfactory bid bond in the amount of fifteen percent of the base bid must be included with each bid. Bidders must pay not less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the contract and comply with nondiscrimination requirements related to race, color, age, religion, sex, handicap, or national origin. HUD's Section 3 requirements apply. Minority Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid. Successful bidders must provide satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds covering 100% of the Contract. A Waiver of Lien with each Application for Payment is required. Bids may be rejected or informalities waived by the Housing Authority. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening of bids without consent of the Housing Authority.
