Site work and paving for a road / highway in Viroqua, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work includes the full depth milling of the existing asphaltic surface on CTH V for a total of 2.3 miles. The existing asphaltic surface will be pulverized in full depth and reduced to a maximum size of two inches. The bid should include mobilization to the project and all equipment and labor necessary for the pulverizing operation and water injection, with the successful bidder supplying a pad foot roller. The county will supply operators for the pad foot roller. The general contractor will deposit the existing milled asphalt material back onto the roadway. County forces will shape and compact the roadway. The bid should also include the price for the contractor to final grade the product. Bidders should mail, hand deliver, or email their bids. Vernon County reserves the right to reject all bids, to accept any bid or any portion of a bid deemed in the best interest of the county, and to waive any bidding technicality or irregularity.
