Hatfield McCoy Regional Recreation Authority is requesting bids for the Twin Hollow Campground and Cabins Expansion Project in Mingo County, West Virginia. The project consists of construction, erection, and installation of water and wastewater infrastructure to connect Twin Hollow Campground and Cabins to the existing systems owned by the Town of Gilbert. This includes an elevated water storage tank, a booster station, 3,500 linear feet of gravity sewer lines, 6,850 linear feet of waterlines, and all necessary appurtenances for complete and operational water and sewer systems. Bids must be submitted according to the requirements in the Bidding Documents. A two-envelope system will be used: Envelope No. 1 must include specific identifying information and required documentation, including a signed drug-free workplace affidavit, and Envelope No. 2, labeled "Bid Proposal," is to be placed inside Envelope No. 1. Only bidders attending the mandatory pre-bid conference will have their bids considered. A certified check or bid bond for 5% of the base bid is required. Bidders must comply with Disadvantaged Business Enterprises and Affirmative Action Requirements, provide evidence of a West Virginia Contractor’s License, and meet critical requirements such as compliance with labor standards, the Build America, Buy America Act, and nondiscrimination in employment.
