The City of Renton - Parks and Recreation Department is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from interdisciplinary teams to provide professional services for the May Creek Trail Bank Stabilization Project. The project involves a 30-foot length of the northern creek bank along May Creek that experienced erosion during a flood event and remains unstable, threatening the May Creek Trail and nearby park infrastructure. The objectives include identifying the causes and extent of erosion, assessing risks to the trail and park infrastructure, developing and evaluating bank stabilization alternatives, and recommending a preferred solution. The chosen team will design and implement a permitted, constructible bank stabilization project that protects public infrastructure, supports ecological function, and meets FEMA funding requirements with a focus on long-term resilience and regulatory compliance. The interdisciplinary team should have expertise in site investigation, surveying, permitting, design and engineering, and construction administration, and be capable of supporting the project through all phases of delivery. Proposals should be submitted via email in PDF format. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. "Requests for proposals for design services is underway."
