Base repair on T-400 Rocky Run Road, involving 2,608 square yards of 5-inch depth base repair on four separate sections of the roadway. All materials must meet current PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified and supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Bidders are required to review the proposed project with the Township prior to bidding and schedule a mandatory road inspection, failure of which will result in dismissal of the bid proposal. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount, and the successful bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price within 20 days of award. The contract includes an Escalator Clause for quantities of bituminous material under 100 tons of asphalt cement. PA Prevailing Wages apply to contracts exceeding $100,000.
