Barker Street Apartment Paving Project: The work includes the installation of 263 square yards of full depth pavement which includes excavation, installation of 6" compacted subbase material, Bituminous Concrete Base Coarse: Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, HMA Base Corse, PG64-22, 0.0 to 0.3 Million ESAL's, 25.0mm mix, 3" Depth, SRL-L, Bituminous Tack Coat: Emulsified asphalt conforming to PDT Section 460. and Wearing Course: Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, HMA wearing Corse, PG64-22, 0.0 to 0.3 Million ESAL's, 9.5mm mix, 1 1/2" Depth, SRL-L. The project also includes the installation of 1,759 square yards of pavement overlay which includes Bituminous Tack Coat, Wearing Course: Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, HMA wearing Corse, PG64-22, 0.0 to 0.3 Million ESAL's, 9.5mm mix, 1 1/2" Depth, SRL-L,. Incidental construction includes the replacement of 6 pole lights on existing light poles, the replacement of2 wall pack lighting units, installation of 2 new all pack lighting units, and line painting A certified check or bank draft payable to Wayne County Housing Authority or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder, and an acceptable Surety in an amount equal to 10% of the total Bid, shall be submitted with each bid The Housing Authority reserve the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be held by the Authority for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date ofthe bid opening for the purpose ofreviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications ofthe Bidder, prior to the award ofthe Contract. The Contract will be awarded to the bidder that submits the lowest Responsible bid on the base bid. If alternates are accepted, the bid will be awarded to the contractor submitting the lowest responsible bid total for the base bid plus the alternate. The decision to accept alternates lies solely with the Authority.
