The work includes, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of existing roofing systems. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the project in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and contract documents. All work must comply with applicable codes, standards, and District requirements. The contractor is responsible for coordinating closely with the District regarding site access, logistics, and designated staging areas. All work activities must be planned and executed to minimize disruption and ensure the safety of students, staff, and campus operations. Bidders must submit Bid Proposals in compliance with the Instructions for Bidders, and each proposal must be accompanied by Bid Security as specified. Bidders must possess a valid California Contractors License classification C-39 at the time the contract is awarded. All contractors and subcontractors listed on any Bid Proposal must be properly registered with the Department of Industrial Relations as required by law, and prevailing wage laws apply to all work performed. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in accordance with applicable laws.
