Lewis Township will receive sealed bids for the Old State Rd Full-Depth Reclamation Project located in Lewis Township, Northumberland County, PA, through PennBid at the offices of R K Webster Engineering. The project includes, but is not limited to, Full-Depth Reclamation (FDR) of approximately 9,500 SY of Old State Rd, a 1 1/2 " Superpave overlay, 2' wide subbase shoulders, erosion and sediment control measures, traffic control, and all necessary incidental work, appurtenances, and site restoration as described in the Project Manual. All work and materials must comply with current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) standards and publications. Bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified. Bids will only be accepted from bidders who are bidding online through PennBid. A certified check or bank draft payable to Lewis Township, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, must be submitted with each bid. The Non-Collusion Affidavit must be fully completed and included. Construction Performance and Payment Bonds are required for one-hundred (100) percent of the awarded Contract amount. State Prevailing Wage Rates must be paid in accordance with PA law. Each Bidder and their subcontractors must ensure non-discrimination in employment. Bids may be held by Lewis Township for up to 60 days for review and qualification investigation.
