Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Canton, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Bids are for clearing, grubbing, silt fencing, minor grading and drainage, installation of approximately 4,300 L.F. of 24” PVC sewer pipe, 10 sanitary manholes and related matters. The project consists of clearing and grubbing of approximately 5.0 acres, SWPPP measures, storm drainage and related improvements. The total Contract Time will be 100 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $150.00 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Offices of Wages Civil, LLC at 3:00 p.m. local time, on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in the amount equal to 5% of the bid shall be furnished by each bidder as required by the contract documents. Proposals must be qualified under Mississippi laws and shall hold current Certificates of Responsibility as issued by law. Copies of the drawings and specifications, together with contract documents, may also be viewed at the office of CiViLTech, Inc., and may be ordered via electronic request to Elmore Moody, P.E. upon payment of $150.00 for each set, none of which is refundable. Award will be made to the lowest and best bidder and MCEDA reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities.
