Sealed bids are wanted for the installation of an FB-Modified bituminous paving course. Each bidder must provide a bid bond by an acceptable surety, or a certified check made payable to Dickinson Township in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid, which must be submitted with their bid proposals. The successful bidder, when awarded a contract, shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds (with suitable surety), as specified in the Contract. DESCRIPTION OF WORK : Fanus Road - Furnish , place and roll 850 tons of FB -Modified at an approximate total depth of 3.25 inches in accordance with PennDot Publication 447 , Section MS -0310-0010 . The total depth includes both a leveling course followed by a paving course . Approximate road width is 15 feet . Road width may vary slightly , match existing road . Mill notches are required at road intersections , paved driveways and railroad rights -of -way to provide smooth transitions . The cost shall be incorporated into each bid item as required .
