The City is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the removal and replacement of flooring at Moberly City Hall. The work involves removing and replacing existing flooring, which includes carpeting, LVP floating floors, and glue-down vinyl plank. The vinyl flooring is in disrepair and in need of replacement. Two office spaces contain LVP floating floors, and the main hallway, foyers, and entrance areas of two other office spaces have glue-down flooring. City Hall must remain open to the public throughout the project. For portions of the project involving hazardous operations, such as extreme noise, chemical vapors, or hazardous dust, the contractor may be required to perform work during evening and weekend hours. INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS Contractor must provide: • General Liability Insurance: $1,000,000 • Workers’ Compensation (as required by law) • Automobile Liability Insurance: $1,000,000 • Provide a certificate of insurance naming the City of Moberly as additional insured entity for the above categories.
