Site work and paving for a road / highway in Loma Linda, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Pavement rehabilitation at Lawton Avenue, New Jersey Street, and Prospect Avenue. No bid will be considered unless it is made on the proposal forms from the specifications furnished by the City and the bidder's name is on the Plan Holder's List. All proposals or bids shall be accompanied by cash, a certified check payable to the City of Loma Linda for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, or by a bond for the amount over and above all statutory exemptions, or by a bond of an accredited surety company. The check or bond will be declared forfeited if the successful bidder refuses to enter into a contract within ten (10) calendar days following receipt of the contract from the City. In accordance with Section 1770 of the California Labor Code, payments to the successful bidder's employees shall conform to the applicable prevailing rates. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a labor and materials bond and a faithful performance bond, each equal to 100% of the contract price. The successful bidder must possess a Class A or Class C-12 Contractor's license at the time of award of this contract. Plans and specifications are available for purchase from the City of Loma Linda Finance Department. The City reserves the right to reject all bids and re-advertise if it determines that acceptance of the lowest bid will not be in the best interests of the City of Loma Linda.
