Send the LEIN Request form, filled out and signed, by email to SmithD76@michigan.gov & FrostS1@michigan.gov. The email "Subject" must include Ionia Correctional Facility, Video Management Upgrade, 5/26/2026 @ 1:00 PM. The facility will be upgrading the existing video management system, installing an access control system, upgrading displays connected to the system, and completing correlating power upgrades. This work will also consist of utilities and connections such as software, data lines, cabling, and other connected work. Project Scope of Work: a. This project is an upgrade of the infrastructure and technology systems. This includes but is not limited to: i. Components of the video security system ii. Addition of an access control system iii. Upgrade of Wardens AV System and other LCD displays iv. Replacement of Starnet 2 perimeter detection software with Symphony software v. Power upgrades and UPS devices b. Work shall include but not be limited to: i. Install cabling, security cameras, network switches, monitoring PC's and servers/storage to support the new and existing cameras plus the growth factor. See specs and drawings. ii. Replace existing camera monitoring PC's and provide new PC's as noted on the drawings and specifications. iii. Provide and install Genetec access control system. Remove existing Access Control system iv. Provide and install AV system in Wardens Conference room and replace other LCD's for camera monitoring PC's as noted v. Provide and replace the Perimeter Detection software Starnet 2 with Symphony software and hardware vi. Provide and install all new Power system upgrades and UPS Devices c. For new cameras, provide costs to include license software thru July 31, 2029. i. New cameras are cameras above and beyond the existing quantity of cameras. Existing cameras and cameras to be replaced already have licensing thru July 31, 2029 d. For new monitoring PC's, provide costs to include license software thru July 31, 2029. i. New monitoring PC's are PC's above and beyond the existing quantity of PC's. Existing PC's and PC's to be replaced already have licensing thru July 31, 2029 e. Fully load the latest Genetec software on the servers and PC's and upgrade all new and existing camera software to the latest firmware that is compatible with the Genetec software. i. Upgrade all software and firmware for the Genetec system and cameras at 11 Month warranty date f. Provide full documentation and as-builts of the systems updated and installed. i. Provide data network connectivity one line including all names. passwords and model numbers and IP addresses ii. Provide Camera system archiver and server configuration/connection diagram with all device names, passwords, model numbers and IP addresses iii. Provide Perimeter Detection system archiver and server configuration/connection diagram with all device names, passwords, model numbers and IP addresses iv. Provide Access Control system configuration/connection diagram with all device names, passwords, model numbers and IP addresses v. Provide cabling and camera locations and camera numbers on red-lined PDF documents. See specifications for full closeout documentation required. g. Add access control to the doors noted. Update door hardware and provide a Genetec access control system. i. Provide new doors/frames or work on existing doors where noted
