Sealed bids are invited for Contract No. 2-26-35 covering renovations to McKean High School, Thomas McKean High School. Bids must be addressed to the Red Clay Consolidated School District at 1502 Spruce Avenue and clearly indicate the contract and project name on the outer envelope. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting at Stanton Middle School for establishing contractor and subcontractor listings and to have questions answered. Electronic contract documents can be obtained from Becker Morgan Group, Inc. upon payment of a non-refundable fee. Each bid must include a bid security equal to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds each equal to one hundred percent of the contract price. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and may extend the time and place for bid opening with at least two calendar days’ notice to those receiving plans. There will be no discrimination in awarding the contract and full opportunity will be provided to minority, disadvantaged, women-owned, and veteran-owned business enterprises to submit bids.
