This project involves the installation of a Borough purchased grinder pump station and appurtenances at the Fern Hollow Nature Center, 1901 Glen Mitchell Road, in the Borough of Sewickley Heights, including but not limited to: demolition of the existing septic tank; installation of a grinder pump station with control panel; installation of pressurized sanitary sewer line; associated electrical work; connection to existing building sewer; site preparation; unclassified trench excavation; associated site restoration; traffic control; and all other incidental items, complete in place. Proposals shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with the project name. Copies of Drawings, Specifications, Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Forms of Proposals, and Agreement are available at the office designated in the notice. No refund or exchange for returned documents. Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting attendance is required for bid responsiveness. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance, and Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement. Proposals must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond equal to ten percent of the total amount of the Proposal. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, qualified, and responsible bidder based on the criteria set forth in the contract documents, and the Borough reserves the right to reject all bids or award a contract for any portion of the work listed in the Proposal.
