Renovation of a municipal facility in Charleston, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Architectural and engineering services are requested for the restoration of the Fredrickson Shed at the South Slough Reserve in Charleston, Oregon. The Fredrickson Shed, dating from the 1890s-1910s, is the last remaining building from its era in the Wasson Creek Valley and is part of the South Slough National Estuarine Reserve. The structure is currently in an extreme state of decay and has been subject to vandalism, presenting a hazard to visitors. The building is considered historical and is part of the Wasson Homestead, archaeological site 35CS372. Proposals are sought for a contract to develop the bid and construction documents required to restore the shed to its original condition. The shed does not have power, electrical, or plumbing services.
