Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project includes installation of approximately 10,000 linear feet of reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) storm sewer, storm sewer jack-and-bore railroad crossing, precast storm manholes, box structures, and storm sewer inlets. Work also includes installation of sanitary sewer and associated manholes, water service and sanitary lateral offsets, installation of 8-inch and 12-inch PVC water main, valve installation, and water main offsets. The project also includes full-depth removal and replacement of concrete pavement in roadways and driveways, full-depth removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, sidewalk and curb ramp removal and replacement, site restoration, erosion control, and traffic control. and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown in the Plans and Specifications. The proposed improvements consist of supplying all the necessary labor, material, and equipment to satisfactorily construct and install all improvements according to the Plans and Specifications designated as Project No. 26-1140. The Work is generally described as follows: Base Bid Tremper Storm Sewer Improvements STA 114+25 to STA 56+28 (Phase 1 and 2) Alternative Bid Tremper Storm Sewer Improvements STA 56+28 to STA 15+50 (Phase 3) Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required. Completion- (472) consecutive calendar days Stage 1 - Construction in Storm Sewer Easement East of 7 th Avenue - Construct storm sewer from eastern project limits (Station 114+00) to Station 94+25 including Storm Sewer Manhole 27 according to the Plans and Specifications. Maintain traffic in accordance with the traffic control procedures. Stage 2 - Construction in 85 th Street and Storm Sewer Easement Between 7 th Avenue and Sheridan Road - Construct storm sewer from storm sewer manhole 27 (Station 94+25) to east of Sheridan Ave (Station 81+25) according to the Plans and Specifications. Maintain traffic in accordance with the traffic control procedures. - Paving and restoration required to fully reopen 7th Avenue to be completed within 30 consecutive calendar days after closing 7 th Avenue to traffic. - Railroad crossing required to be progressed 24/7 continuously through Zone A. - Each water main offset required to accommodate storm sewer construction shall be completed within a one (1) calendar day. Phase 2 (2027): Stage 3A - Construction in 85 th Street to Cross Northbound Lanes of Sheridan Road - Construct storm sewer to cross Sheridan Road from Station 81+25 to center of Sheridan Road median (Station 80+50) according to the Plans and Specifications. Maintain traffic in accordance with the traffic control procedures. - Paving and restoration required to fully reopen Sheridan Road and 85 th Street to be completed within 30 consecutive calendar days after beginning of Stage 3A. Stage 3A shall be completed and the eastern lanes of Sheridan Road open to traffic prior to starting Stage 3B work. Storm sewer to be bulkheaded and backfilled at centerline of Sheridan. Stage 3B - Construction in 85 th Street to Cross Southbound Lanes of Sheridan Road - Construct storm sewer to cross Sheridan Road from the center median (Station 80+50) to Station 79+30 according to the Plans and Specifications. Maintain traffic in accordance with the traffic control procedures. - Paving and restoration required to fully reopen Sheridan Road and 85 th Street to be completed within 30 consecutive calendar days after beginning of Stage 3B. Stage 3B shall be completed and the western lanes of Sheridan Road open to traffic prior to starting Stage 4A work. Stage 4A - Construction in 85 th Street Southern Lanes Between Sheridan Road and 22 nd Avenue - Construct storm sewer in 85 th Street northern lanes from Station 79+30 to Station 56+28 according to the Plans and Specifications. Maintain traffic in accordance with the traffic control procedures. - Stage 4A shall be completed and the southern lanes of 85 th street open to traffic prior to starting Stage 4B work. Stage 4B - Construction in 85 th Street northern lanes between Sheridan Road and 22 nd Avenue - Construct storm sewer in 85 th Street southern lanes from Station 79+30 to Station 56+28 according to the Plans and Specifications. Maintain traffic in accordance with the traffic control procedures. - Stage 4A shall be completed and the southern lanes of 85 th street open to traffic prior to starting Stage 4B work. 2027 Winter Shutdown: - Winter shutdown in the year 2027 will commence on November 15 with the completion of all work required in Phase 2 unless otherwise approved by the Engineer.
