The work generally consists of the following: all quantities are more or less; furnish labor and equipment required to complete in place; Contract 1 - milling, grading and paving of the asphalt parking lot. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid Amount, made payable to Cumberland Township. The Contractor, upon notification of Intent to Award, shall provide the Owner, Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the total Contract amount,as well as proof of worker's compensation insurance. Cumberland Township, as the contracting owner, reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, or portions thereof, and alternates, to select individual or both components of the base bid, or to waive any irregularities.
