The Town of Wellesley is undertaking a water infrastructure rehabilitation project to replace aging and undersized water mains along Edgemoor Avenue and Eaton Court. Work includes installation of approximately 900 linear feet of new 6-inch ductile iron water main on Eaton Court and replacement of approximately 2,700 linear feet of 6-inch water main on Edgemoor Avenue, including upgrades to existing cast iron piping.The project scope also includes installation of valves, hydrants, service connections, and appurtenances, along with temporary water systems to maintain service during construction. Contractors will perform excavation, trenching, dewatering, and utility coordination, as well as pavement milling, roadway and sidewalk restoration, erosion control, and site cleanup.
