Reference Number 0000425782 Provides campus-wide vector control services focused on the prevention, mitigation, and removal of nuisance wildlife. This includes the installation, inspection, and maintenance of bird deterrent systems such as custom-fabricated spikes, netting, and other exclusion methods on and within buildings. Deterrent devices are routinely evaluated and replaced on a rotating schedule to ensure they remain effective and to address damage caused by wildlife. Services also include the safe trapping and removal of birds, bats, and other non-insect, non-rodent pests (rodent control is handled separately) as needed. Performs exterior building and structural cleanings to address sanitation and buildup associated with wildlife activity and everyday use. This includes both routinely scheduled and on-demand cleaning such as power washing of balconies, patios, parking garages, building exteriors, and other campus specific areas. Submitted bids are to include clear pricing [per hour or flat fee for activity] for the following areas: o Vector Control / Animal Trapping (ex. Birds, bats, non-insect, non-rodent) flat fee per building or structure. o Exterior cleaning (ex. balconies, exterior building facades, patios, parking garages). This work includes power washing bird droppings and removing nests per hour. o Installing bird prevention devices including bird spikes, per lineal feet, and netting per square foot furnished and installed. Campus equipment is not available to use for these services; therefore, contractor will need to supply proper equipment for this scale of work. This may include lifts, ladders, commercial grade power washer, traps, trailers, related tools, and cleaning solution. Contractor is expected to respond to service requests through the campus work order system (HALO) via email, as well as through direct email communication and phone calls.
