Bid Packages o Bid Package #1 (this package): Tomlinson Library, Confluence Hall, Dominguez Hall, Escalante Hall, Houston Hall o Bid Package Phase #2 (to be issued at a later date): Fine Arts, Health Sciences, Wubben Science Center Scope of Work -- Bid Package Phase #1 Confluence Hall o Provide carbon monoxide detection in accordance with International Fire Code Section 915. o Provision and roughin for a Local Operating Console (mass notification); console to be activated at a future date.o Re-label existing notification appliances from "FIRE" to "ALERT." o Connect the fire alarm control panel to a dedicated Notifier fire alarm network Tomlinson Library o Provide carbon monoxide detection in accordance with International Fire Code Section 915.Provision and roughin for a Local Operating Console (mass notification); console to be activated at a future date. o Re-label existing notification appliances from "FIRE" to "ALERT." o Reconfigure the existing fire alarm network to eliminate traversal of CMU network switches, creating a standalone fire alarm network. Dominguez Hall o Add Digital Voice Command (DVC) and amplifiers to the existing Notifier 3030 Fire Alarm Control Panel. o Remove existing horns and strobes, patch and paint demolition locations. o Install new speakers and strobes with new wiring throughout the building. o Provide carbon monoxide detection in accordance with International Fire Code Section 915. o Replace required initiating devices on a one-for-one basis. o Remove non-required initiating devices, patch and paint demolition locations. o Provision and roughin for a Local Operating Console (mass notification); console to be activated at a future date. o Reconfigure the existing fire alarm network to eliminate traversal of CMU network switches, creating a standalone fire alarm network.
