Renovation of a fire / police facility in Grand Junction, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The project scope includes replacement of three rooftop HVAC units with AAON gas-fired VAV packaged units, replacement of three boilers with new Lochinvar equipment and circulation pumps, replacement of shooting range exhaust fans and makeup air units, gas piping routing, complete building automation system replacement from Trane Tracer SC+ to Alerton Compass 2 with distributed controllers, and removal and replacement of all interior and exterior lighting fixtures with new LED systems incorporating 2024 IECC compliance standards. Bidders must meet minimum qualifications including two years of operation under the same business name, documented experience on at least two projects exceeding $1.5 million in hard costs, and bonding capacity up to $1.5 million, with a bid bond of not less than 5% of the total bid and performance and labor and material payment bonds of not less than 50% upon contract award required. Construction commencement anticipated for June 15, 2026, with substantial completion targeted for June 15, 2027.
