The Board of Supervisors of Tippah County, Mississippi, will accept bids for the purchase of supplies and equipment required for public works, public buildings, and public construction. The contract will run through June 30, 2027. Items to be purchased include CRS-2 Liquid Asphalt, CRS-2P Liquid Asphalt, DBST (material and labor with 1-year warranty), road preparation for DBST (mixing, shaping, and compacting), chipseal (material and labor with 1-year warranty), crushed stone (limestone #78), and clay gravel. Bidders must specify the price at which articles, materials, equipment, and supplies will be furnished, with no obligation on the Board to purchase a specific maximum amount. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities, split awards, select more than one bidder if both bids are the lowest and best (even if not identical), advertise for new contracts at the end of any three-month period, and extend the bid for an additional year through June 30, 2028. Bidders are encouraged to submit bids on the pre-printed bid form available from the County’s Purchasing Clerk. Official bid documents and electronic submission are available through Central Bidding.
