Site work for a water / sewer project in Canton, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of furnishing all labor and materials and constructing the project designated as '2026 WESTERN WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS.' The total contract time is 180 consecutive calendar days. Liquidated damages will be $500.00 for each consecutive calendar day beyond the contract time. Bidders must submit either electronic or sealed bids. Electronic bids must be submitted as a PDF file and include the Certificate of Responsibility Number and a signed bid sheet. Sealed bids must be marked on the outside with the project name and the bidder's Certificate of Responsibility Number. Bids without this information will not be considered. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check equal to 5% of the bid amount is required. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi laws and hold current Certificates of Responsibility. The award will be made to the lowest and best bidder, but the authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities. The total Contract Time will be 180 consecutive calendar days.
