Construction of a new 9,220 square foot office/warehouse space at 499 Davis Drive, Luling, LA. Bids must be submitted sealed to the specified office or electronically as described. Bidding documents are available to licensed contractors or suppliers at the office of the architect for a fee. Each bid must include a security deposit equal to five percent of the total bid in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond. Electronic bids must include all documents required for a physical bid. The exterior of the bid envelope must include the submitting firm's name, Louisiana Contractors License Number, project number, and project title. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory. St. Charles Parish encourages participation from small, minority-owned, and women’s business enterprises. Purchases for this project are exempt from state sales and use tax as per applicable statutes. The contractor is responsible for compliance with all tax requirements and any local, state, and federal taxes otherwise.
