Sealed proposals are requested for Lamont Avenue Park Improvements. Proposal forms are available from H. Gilroy Damon Associates, Inc., Civil Engineers, for a non-refundable fee. Bids must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the Borough. The successful bidder must provide satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The project is assisted with federal funds and must comply with federal requirements such as equal opportunity provisions, Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Build America Buy America Act, and Section 3 Final rule threshold requirements for contracts over $200,000 in HUD funds. Bidders cannot withdraw bids within sixty days of opening. The Borough reserves the right to reject any proposals or waive any informality in the bids.
