Sealed proposals are requested for Lamont Avenue Park Improvements. Proposal forms are available from H. Gilroy Damon Associates, Inc., Civil Engineers, for a non-refundable fee. Bids must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the Borough. The successful bidder must provide satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The project is assisted with federal funds and must comply with federal requirements such as equal opportunity provisions, Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Build America Buy America Act, and Section 3 Final rule threshold requirements for contracts over $200,000 in HUD funds. Bidders cannot withdraw bids within sixty days of opening. The Borough reserves the right to reject any proposals or waive any informality in the bids. Award is subject to final approval.
