The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Glenolden. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner within 20 days of the contract award. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870.00 per calendar day. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality in the bids, as they deem for the best interest of the Borough.
