Site work and paving for a playground / park / athletic field in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project involves the excavation and backfilling of the basketball court at Leger Park. Work includes the safe removal and disposal of asphalt from the basketball court measuring approximately 80'W x 120'L x 6"D, installation of specified amounts of compacted sandstone and gravel, grading and preparation for asphalt resurfacing, and repair of any turf damage resulting from the work. Paving includes supplying, spreading, and rolling 50mm of B-mix asphalt over the prepared area, followed by a 40mm levelling coat of D-mix. Contractors must provide and maintain specified equipment and qualified personnel for these tasks, and adhere to flexible scheduling that may include work on weekends and evenings. Each proposal must include a list of relevant contracts, project management approach, a health and safety plan, and mandatory documentation such as proof of equipment registration, insurance, and inspection. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked as specified, received by the deadline, and signed by authorized personnel. All quoted prices must be exclusive of HST.
