Renovation of a medical facility in Ogdensburg, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
DASNY is soliciting bids for the boiler decentralization project at Building 201 at St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center, located at 1 Chimney Point Drive in Ogdensburg, New York. The purpose of this project is to disconnect the building from the co-generation plant steam lines and provide natural gas condensing boilers for heating and domestic water. The detailed scope includes removal of the existing steam-to-heating hot water heat exchangers and installation of a new central utility building with six new heating hot water boilers and related pumps and accessories; removal of the existing steam-to-domestic hot water heat exchangers and installation of three new gas fired water heaters and related accessories; installation of a new pipe rack system on the roof of the existing building to connect utilities between the existing building and the new central utility building--including heating hot water supply/return piping, natural gas piping, power conduits, fire alarm, BMS, and data/tele conduits; extension of the existing Trane Control system to integrate the new boiler plant and domestic heating hot water system; and removal of the campus medium pressure steam system, including the service entrance, pressure-reduced stations, and steam/condensate distribution piping. Only Contract Documents obtained from Camelot Print and Copy Centers will enable a prospective bidder to be identified as an official plan holder of record. Prospective bidders are advised that the Contract Documents for this Project contain new "GENERAL CONDITIONS for CONSTRUCTION" dated February 4, 2026, with significant revisions from previous versions, and are further advised to review the applicable sections of these General Conditions for any potential impact on their bid price prior to submittal of the bid. To order and become a registered planholder, bidders must purchase the Contract Documents through the specified online planroom or by mail, with digital downloads required for registration. Purchases are non-refundable and non-returnable. If ordering by mail, bidders must include company and contact information, and a shipping account number. Question Deadline 07/03/2026 Every request for such interpretation must be received at least ten ( 10) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bid .
