Description

Demolition, site work and new construction of a residential development in Sharpsburg, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for the construction of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

Separate sealed bids are requested for the demolition/clearance and asbestos removal of one house and the provision/installation of one State Building Code modular house. All federal CDBG requirements apply, including compliance with Section 109, E.O. 11246, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Anti-Kickback Act, E-Verify Regulations, and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. Bidders must not be debarred from receiving state or federal contracts. There is an emphasis on supporting Small and Minority/Women Owned Businesses, Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB), and Section 3 businesses. The Town reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. This municipality is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Service Provider.
