Sealed bids are requested electronically via the PennBid Program for a service contract for general repairs, maintenance, and emergency repairs to Borough-owned utilities and facilities, including but not limited to the wastewater treatment plant, water treatment facility, water distribution system, and sanitary sewer and storm sewer collection systems. Work will be assigned through individual Work Orders for specific tasks or projects. The initial contract duration is three years, with the possibility of renewal for up to two additional one-year terms. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of ten percent of the total bid price, in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond by an approved surety. All questions must be submitted through PennBid’s “Ask A Question” on the Project Details page. Only bids submitted electronically via PennBid will be accepted. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or to reject any or all bids.
