The Town of Pacific is soliciting bids for chip seal surfacing on Horton Road and North Star Road. Emulsified liquid asphalt must be blended at a State of Wisconsin and AASHTO certified liquid asphalt production facility; FA-2 UTLEY or a similar black granite product is required. Excess cover aggregate must be removed according to the Owner's specifications. Bids must include personnel and equipment to sign work zones and thoroughly clean existing pavement with a combination self-propelled power broom or mechanical blower prior to chip seal surfacing. Only experienced equipment operators are to be used; operator trainees are not permitted. The selected contractor must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance. The Town of Pacific reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept the most advantageous bid, or waive any technicality.
